Check if the volume on the Sound Organizer software is turned up and also check if the volume on the computer is turned up. If that doesn't work, try playing the files on a different media player to see if the issue is specific to Sound Organizer.

Some software may not be fully compatible with Windows 11 yet, and it is possible that Sound Organizer is not currently able to link to Outlook on this operating system. The user may need to wait for updates from the software developer or consider using a different method to email their Sound Organizer files.
Since I was forced to buy a new recorder because you do not have software for the older one I've had to install sound organizer. the font is so small that I cannot read it. I read the suggestion to changed DPI but that changes the font sizes in all apps - yet the only app with this issue is yours please tell me how to fix this!

One possible solution to fix the issue with the small font in Sound Organizer is to adjust the display settings specifically for that application. You can try right-clicking on the Sound Organizer shortcut or executable file, selecting Properties, and then navigating to the Compatibility tab. From there, you can check the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" option and experiment with different scaling settings to see if it resolves the font size problem without affecting other applications.
I wish to remove the first ten seconds from a track, I follow the instructions, but when I right click the selected section (in black), I do not get a delete instruction. Help me, please.

Dividing a portion of a track is actually pretty easy. Open Sound Organizer, then import the file. Press on Edit Mode to generate the waveform. With the file selected in the list, press on Divide. Add only ONE marker at the end of the dividing point and then press START. Your file will be divided in two, then you can import the second part.
I bought the Sony IC Recorder ICD-PX312. But it seems that Sound Organizer only works for the PC. Is there a Mac compatible product that I can use?

Sound Organizer is not compatible with Mac OS X, nor there is a compatible version available. However, many users recommended Audacity as an alternative. Even if it does not have all the functions offered by Sound Organizer, you still have the possibility to control the playback easily.

The producer of your recorder doesn't offer any support for MAC OS. You can check Forum 1 for more information about this matter. Also you can check Mac Informer in order to find a software that might help you resolve this.
The application supports most of the pedals used for transcription but you need to make sure that the pedal is configured correctly and you need to customize the controls in the Transcription menu under Tools > Settings. The Transcription menu will be activated only for files imported from the IC Recorder.
When I downloaded Sound Organizer into my new Windows 10 machine, the font size is about 2 and unreadable without a magnifying glass. My computer guy has tried various things, but none worked. Any ideas?

This happens due to the DPI scaling feature found in the Windows operating systems. I know that it happened to me as well with one of my programs, and I believe this happens to the Sound Organizer as well. To fix it, simply change the DPI scaling using Start > Settings. Type DPI into the search box then click the option that appears. I recommend increasing it.
To enable the Transcription option, you need to import files that are supported by the application. To check the supported files, start the application then go to Help > Sound organizer Help or simply press F1. Switch to Search and then type support. Double click Import files in Sound Organizer then choose Supported Formats and you can see the files that can be added.
To make it easier, use the information below:
WAV format (extension: .wav) MP3 format (extension: .mp3) AAC format (extensions: .3gp, .mp4, .m4a) HE-AAC format (extensions: 3gp, .mp4, .m4a) WMA format (extension: .wma) LPEC format (extensions: dvf, .msv)

Audacity works on all Mac versions: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/mac
Or, you could run Sound Organizer through Wine Bottler, an emulator for Windows files.
