I've been using SO in Windows 7 but on my new Windows 10 computer the font size is about 2 and is impossible to read. I am VERY UNHAPPY. Any ideas of how to remedy this situation? My computer guy tried various solutions and all failed.
Barbara, you're not alone with this problem. I have not found a solution.
I have been using Sound Organizer for years. Easy to use.
I need a download for Sound Organizer.
Love the software. I use it every week to record and playback the classes I teach. Very convenient and practical.
I can't get Sound Organizer to download.
It did not work.
I can't get any sound from your video. What am I doing wrong?
When editing track marks on the software (not the recorder), can you name the mark? For example if you learn several lessons in one class period and want to mark off each one, could you label one "Start of Lesson 2"? It would be very helpful but I don't know if it's possible. Thanks.
I have someone reading a commercial, they mess up and start over. How can I edit that off the recording? I don't understand what the track marks are for. I'd like to edit the recording, is that possible?

Not bad but if you're using a hi-res screen on a Windows platform, it is really awful to use due to font rendering issues. I use it on an older desktop machine in my home as it's unusable on my work PC - a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro running Win 8.1.
Win 10 might improve things a little, but it's time software authors get with the world off hi-res monitors as they become more common.
Does anyone have any experience moving/transferring/archiving SO files from the SO program onto an outboard backup drive or thumb drive & the selectively moving back into SO one or several files for playback? Mine are all dictation - no music, just verbal audio files I wish to get off my my PC hard drive, put them into a 'holding/archiving' area & then bring back on occasion the file(s) I wish to review by using SO's playback & edit functions. I could find no reference to back up, transfer or archiving in the SO help files - worse yet, no reference to 'support' or help on SONY's website - or anything that came back from a general Google search.
I have good experience with Sony Sound Organizer running under XP, but now that it's been installed using Windows 7 (64) it loads very, very slow. Once it does start we see the usual file list is shown, and operation appears to be at normal speed. How can I get this to start as fast as it did with XP?
This is a program that came with a Sony .mp3 recorder. It works with a number of models of Sony products that handle .mp3 files.
The tech description says it works with Windows 7, 32 and 64.
How do I email a recording out of Sound Organizer? I have 8.1.
Cannot get the transfer screen. Says connect recorder which I do but never connects.
Cannot move edits out of Sound Organizer.
Cannot get the email function.
Could be a nice tool if it did what it said it would do.
Love this software, have an older version. Last few times I tried using it, it didn't let me access music. Any suggestions?
All of a sudden, I cannot download a recording to SO. I went to the help and it says click "Next" but I do not see that on my screen. In the past, when I plugged in the recorder to the PC, it downloaded automatically. Any thoughts?
